About the day
An afternoon at Crinigan’s Hut using traditional and modern archaeology to recreate the lives of those who lived and built the stone cottage. Alongside many archaeological activities, we will record the site using 3D and 2D techniques which will be used to create digital models and help preserve the site.

About this event
Join expert panellists as they explore issues in contemporary archaeological practice. Is the pursuit of archaeology motivated solely by curiosity about our historic and prehistoric past, as it once was? Does it have tangible value? This Canberra Archaeology Society – Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology event is part of the ACT and Region Heritage Festival. The event will feature 4 speakers, followed by a Q&A session (details below).
